It began roughly 8 years ago. Jessica and I knew we wanted to serve in ministry for the rest of our lives, so it made sense for me to pursue a Seminary degree. As Jessica served on staff at Summit Christian Church, I volunteered in a variety of ministries and began to work part-time with the young adults in 2009. Just before Adelina was born and my graduation from Seminary, I transitioned into Jessica’s role and became the LIFE! Groups Pastor in 2010. I served in this capacity until August 2011 when we began the process of becoming missionary aviators. After a year in Michigan where I studied to become a certified aircraft mechanic, we moved back to Reno and tried out with MAF. We have finished all of MAF’s required training in the U.S. and hope to be moving to Indonesia very soon!
