Eli Crew Vana

Baby Eli-1

Eli Crew Vana was born at 2:50 am on Friday, May 13th. He weighed in at 6 lbs 12 oz and a little over 19 in long. We had to induce labor a few weeks early for the health of the little man. The labor and delivery went great and he arrived as healthy as possible. We have enjoyed our time here in the US. After arriving on April 20th, we have spent time in Nampa ID at MAF headquarters, Raleigh NC to visit the Vana family, Carthage MS to visit Jessica’s Dad’s family, and finally settling in Reno NV to see Jessica’s Mom’s family and our home church. It has been a whirlwind journey and we are grateful to be settled for the next month with our new baby boy.

We already adore out little Eli and the kids can’t get enough of him, especially Solomon. He asks to hold or “love on” Eli every morning. The kids love to take turns sitting next to him in the car, talking to him, and holding his hand. He has been gaining weight and getting more alert every day. All glory to God for the blessing of Eli Crew.

As far as returning to Indonesia, we are completing all of the paperwork and forms to get Eli a passport and visa so we can return in July. Everything is right on track and we are excited to get back and I can’t wait to start flying and gaining more experience. We will be in Reno for the remainder of our time in the US, and we are looking forward to resting up and enjoying the beautiful high desert and Lake Tahoe before we return “home” to Indonesia.

Thank you so much for your prayers for our family. God has been so good to our family. We look forward to keeping you updated on our journey and the work God is doing in Indonesia.
