We have one more week to go before our try-out with MAF! WAHOO!!! This is going to be a busy week. I am studying my flight manuals, the federal regulations for pilots and mechanics, my airframe textbook and test booklet, my powerplant textbook and test booklet, my general mechanics practices book, advisory circular 42.13 (or better known as the “Bible”), my oral study guide for private, instrument, and commercial pilot’s license, and a few more things. I am also renting a plane to get current on my flight maneuvers and instrument flying. Whew!!!
It is a busy week but we wouldn’t have it any other way. The best things in life are the things that you have to earn, work, and fight for. We will be driving up to Nampa, ID on Saturday, January 12th to get settled before the TE (Technical Evaluation) starts on monday the 14th. God provided a house for us to stay in so we won’t have to be in a hotel room for 2 weeks. (Remember the stress from last week? Yeah, God takes care of things! And, even when we have to endure tough things, we know that we are not struggling in vain!!!)
In family news, we are expecting Number 3 this summer! And, if the home test is accurate (as it has been with Adelina and Jeremiah) then we are going to be having another BOY! Praise the Lord! He is good!
Please keep the prayers coming!!!
