No, he can’t get any cuter. Otherwise the camera would explode for joy!

I needed to hear that! God with us! Immanuel!!! What a promise. What a truth that penetrates down into the deepest parts of the soul. God used this last weekend’s message at Summit (thanks Justin) to comfort my soul. God is with us. There is no need to fear. There is no need to worry. The key is simply to know where to look.

I look up to the mountains— does my help come from there? My help comes from the LORD, who made heaven and earth! He will not let you stumble; the one who watches over you will not slumber. Indeed, he who watches over Israel never slumbers or sleeps. The LORD himself watches over you! The LORD stands beside you as your protective shade. The sun will not harm you by day, nor the moon at night. The LORD keeps you from all harm and watches over your life. The LORD keeps watch over you as you come and go, both now and forever.”

Psalm 121 NLT

We are still praying about the future and figuring out where to go. The good news is that our hope is secure, for our hope is not in what we do but in Christ alone. Immanuel…God with us!!! Amen!

We are excited to make a decision and then run the race set before us. Until then, we will wait and allow our souls to rest. Isaiah 30:15 says, “In repentance and rest is your salvation, in quietness and trust is your strength…” So, we rest and trust, enjoying the time that we have had as a family, and prepare our hearts to hear from God. Then, we obey and walk in faith for God is with us!
